Serial Communication Circuit Test

When the tilt/telescopic ECU receives an input from the memory or return switches, serial data is sent back and forth between the tilt/telescopic ECU and the driver's power seat ECU. Check circuits between tilt/telescopic ECU and driver's power seat ECU. If circuits are okay, check return feature of tilt/telescopic steering and mirrors. If return feature operates, go to next item listed under TROUBLE SHOOTING. If return feature does not operate, replace tilt/telescopic ECU.
