Parking Brake Switch Test

Check for continuity between switch body and switch mounting. If there is no continuity, clean mounting area between switch and mounting (poor ground). If there is continuity, disconnect electrical connector from switch.
Check for continuity between ground and connector terminal. With parking brake released, there should be no continuity. With parking brake applied, there should be continuity. If continuity is not as specified, replace parking brake switch.
