Power Steering Pump: Disassembly
- Mount pump in vise. Remove reservoir. See Fig 1. Remove air control valve. Remove pressure port fitting and "O" ring. Remove flow control valve and spring. Remove flow control valve seat snap ring. Thread appropriate size bolt into flow control valve spring seat. Pull out bolt and spring seat with pliers. Remove "O" ring from seat.

- Remove pump shaft snap ring. Pull out shaft and bearing assembly with Puller Clamp (09911-00011
) and Slide Hammer (09912-00010
). Remove rear bracket retaining bolts and rear bracket. Remove rear bracket "O" ring. Remove wave washer.
- Press out front side plate, cam ring, rotor, vane plates, and rear side plate as an assembly. Separate assembly components, and remove "O" rings. Remove pin from front side plate. Remove pin from front housing.
