Door Courtesy Switch Test

  1. Locate door courtesy switch to be tested. One switch is located in each door jamb (total of 4 switches). With switch on (switch pin released), check for continuity between door courtesy switch terminal and switch body. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace switch.
  2. With switch off (switch pin depressed), check for continuity between door courtesy switch terminal and switch body. If continuity does not exist, switch is okay. If continuity exists, replace switch.
