Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

COMPONENTS FOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION




REMOVAL
1. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE.
- Disconnect the PS air hose to the air cleaner hose.
- Loosen the 2 hose clamps, and remove the air cleaner hose.




2. REMOVE VAF METER FROM AIR CLEANER.
- Disconnect the high-tension cord from the cord clamp.
- Disconnect the VAF meter connector.
- Disconnect the wire clamp from the bracket.




- Remove the 4 nuts, bolt, VAF meter and gasket.

Torque: 10 N.m (100 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf)

INSTALLATION
- Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

HINT: Use a new gasket.
