Circuit Description

Sub-throttle position sensor detects opening angle of sub-throttle valve and sends signal to ABS ECU. If incorrect signal is input, ABS ECU prohibits TRAC system operation. DTC is set when ABS ECU detects zero voltage on IDL2 terminal even though sub-throttle is commanded to fully closed position during sub-throttle initial check or ABS ECU detects voltage on IDL2 terminal during sub-throttle initial check. Possible causes are:

• Sub-throttle position sensor.
• IDL2 open or short circuit
• Engine Control Module (ECM).
• Throttle valve motor driver.
