Rheostat Light Control

Using a voltmeter, check for voltage between ground and instrument cluster connector "A" terminal No. 7. See Figure and Figure . Turn headlight control switch to TAIL or HEAD position. Turn rheostat light control knob. Voltage should vary as knob is turned. If voltage does not vary as knob is turned, replace rheostat light control.
