(High Coolant Temperature)

Ensure coolant temperature is greater than 199°F (93°C). Start engine. If cooling fans come on at high speed, system is okay. If cooling fans do not come on at high speed, check for faulty cooling fan system components or wiring. See the ENGINE COOLING FAN article in the ENGINE COOLING section.
