NOTE:
Overhaul and diagnostic repair information for power tilt and telescoping steering columns is not available from manufacturer. However, wiring diagrams are provided. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
SC300 is equipped with either manual or power tilt/ telescoping column. Control switches for windshield wipers/washers, lights, turn signals, and ignition are on the steering column.
WARNING:
Vehicles are equipped with air bag supplemental restraint system. For additional warnings, cautions, and information, see appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM article in ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT section:
Before servicing, wait at least 2 minutes after ignition switch is turned to LOCK position and negative battery cable is disconnected.
