Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Testing and Inspection

1. Remove Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor.
- Refer to Service and Repair for removal/installation procedures.
2. INSPECT ECT SENSOR.
- Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.





Resistance: Refer to the image above.

- If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.
