Abs Warning Light Circuit

  1. If light is illuminated constantly, go to step 3). If light does not illuminate, check GAUGE fuse, bulb, instrument cluster and wiring. If components are okay, check ABS solenoid relay. See DTC 11 - ABS SOLENOID RELAY CIRCUIT. If ABS solenoid relay is okay, inspect and repair circuit between DLC1 and ABS solenoid relay, or circuit between ABS solenoid relay and ground.
  2. Retrieve codes. If code(s) are stored, repair appropriate circuit. If no codes are stored, remove short pin from DLC1. See Figure. If light stays on, repair circuit between ABS warning light, DLC1 and ABS ECU.
  3. If light goes out, check ABS solenoid relay. See DTC 11 - ABS SOLENOID RELAY CIRCUIT. If ABS solenoid relay is okay, check for short in circuit between DLC1 and ABS solenoid relay.
