Circuit Description

Sub-throttle position sensor detects opening angle of sub-throttle valve and sends signal to ABS ECU. If incorrect signal is input, ABS ECU prohibits TRAC system operation. DTC is set when ABS ECU detects 4.9 volts or greater on VTA2 terminal or ABS ECU detects one volt or less on VTA2 terminal. Possible causes are:

• Sub-throttle position sensor.
• VTA2 open or short circuit
• Engine Control Module (ECM).
• TRAC ECU.
