Diagnosis & Repair

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect TRAC ECU harness connectors. Turn ignition on. Using voltmeter, measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 21 on connector T13. If voltage is 8-14 volts, replace TRAC ECU. If voltage is not 8-14 volts, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off. Check continuity of TR2 circuit between TRAC ECU and ECM. Repair as needed. Ensure circuit is not shorted to ground. If circuit is okay, replace ECM.
