Using Check Harness

  1. When checking voltage and resistance at ECM connector terminals, use Check Harness (09990-01000, also called Check Harness "A") to prevent terminal damage. To connect check harness, disconnect ECM connectors. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS . Connect the check harness between ECM and harness.
  2. Connectors and terminals on check harness match those of ECM. Wire colors that are specified in procedures apply to ECM connectors, but may not apply to check harness connectors. To identify connectors and terminals, see Fig 1.
