Rear Doors

  1. Remove door panel to access door lock motor assembly. Disconnect door lock motor assembly connector. Check for continuity between door lock motor assembly connector terminals No. 1 and 4. See Fig 1. Continuity should exist with door lock in UNLOCK position. Cont inuity should not exist with door lock in LOCK position. If continuity is as specified, go to next step. If continuity is not as specified, replace door lock motor assembly.
  2. Disconnect 16-pin connector "D" from body ECU. See Figure. Check for continuity between 16-pin connector "D" terminal No. 12 (Gray wire) and ground. Continuity should exist with rear door lock in UNLOCK position. Continuity should not exist with rear door lock in LOCK position. If continuity is not as specified, repair wiring harness as necessary.
