NOTE:
Overhaul and diagnostic repair information for power tilt and telescoping steering columns is not available from manufacturer. However, wiring diagrams are provided. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
LS400 is equipped with power tilt and telescoping steering column. Control switches for windshield wipers/washers, lights, turn signals, and ignition are on the steering column.
WARNING:

Before servicing, wait at least 2 minutes after ignition switch is turned to LOCK position and negative battery cable is disconnected.
