Distributor Sensors

DISTRIBUTOR SENSOR RESISTANCE (1)

Application Ohms
Camshaft Sensor
Cold (2) 835-1400
Hot (3) 1060-1645
Crankshaft Sensor
Cold (2) 835-1400
Hot (3) 1060-1645
(1) Ignition system uses 2 distributors (one at front end of each cylinder head). ECM controls ignition system based on signals from camshaft sensor (one on each distributor housing) and crankshaft sensor (at crankshaft pulley).
(2) 14-122°F (-10-50°C).
(3) 123-212°F (51-100°C).
