Power Walk-In Feature

This feature makes it easier to get in and out of the back seat through the passenger's door. When you release the seatback lock and lean the seatback forward, the passenger's seat cushion automatically slides forward.

The passenger's power seat ECU monitors seatback angle through a reclining limit switch. When passenger's power seat ECU senses that the seatback is leaning forward, it applies power to the sliding motor to move the seat cushion forward. When you move the seatback to its normal position, the passenger's power seat ECU commands the sliding motor to move the seat cushion rearward to its original position.
