Door Lock Buzzer Circuit Test
- Disconnect door lock buzzer (located under glove box). Measure resistance between buzzer terminals. Resistance should be about one ohm. Replace buzzer if necessary. If resistance is as specified, go to next step.
- Disconnect buzzer volume control. Measure resistance between buzzer volume control terminals while changing volume. Resistance should vary from infinite ohms to zero ohms. Replace volume control if resistance is not as specified. If resistance is as specified, go to next step.
- While pressing transmitter button, backprobe for voltage between door lock ECU harness connector terminal No. 3 and ground. See Figure. If no voltage exists, replace door lock ECU. If a momentary voltage exists, repair open buzzer circuit.
