Test 13: Low Oil Pressure Warning Light Problem

  1. Check GAUGE fuse. Replace as needed. Disconnect connector "D". Turn ignition on. Check voltage at connector "D" terminal No. 3. If voltage does not exist, repair open circuit between GAUGE fuse and connector "D" terminal No. 3. Reconnect connector "D". Disconnect connector "B". Ground connector "B" terminal No. 3. Turn ignition on.
  2. If low oil pressure warning light illuminates, check low oil pressure warning light. See WARNING LIGHTS  under COMPONENT TESTS. If low oil pressure warning light is okay, check low oil pressure warning switch and retest. See OIL PRESSURE SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS. If low oil pressure warning light operation is not okay, repair wiring between connector "B" terminal No. 3 and sending unit terminal No. 1.
