Test 22: Shift Position Indicator Problem
Disconnect instrument panel connector "B" and "C". Turn ignition on. While moving shifter, check voltage at terminals listed. See SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR TERMINAL table. If voltage does not exist, check wiring between specified instrument panel connector terminal and park/neutral position switch. Check switch. See PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION (PNP) SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTS. If wiring and switch are okay, check light bulb. Replace as needed and retest. If voltage exists, replace circuit plate and retest.
