Test 27: Discharge Warning Light Problem
Check IGN fuse. Replace as needed. Disconnect connector "A" and "B". Turn ignition on. Check voltage at connector "B" terminal No. 2. If voltage does not exist, repair open circuit between IGN fuse and connector "B" terminal No. 2. If voltage exists, check continuity between instrument panel terminal "B" No. 2 (+) and terminal "A" No. 10 (-). If continuity does not exist, check light bulb. Replace as needed. If bulb is okay, install a known good circuit plate and retest. If light still does not illuminate, replace instrument panel computer and retest. If continuity exists, reconnect connector "A" and "B". Disconnect connector from generator. If discharge warning light illuminates, check wiring between instrument panel and generator. If discharge warning light does not illuminate, check generator.
