Test 32: Headlight Light Problem

Check headlights by turning light control switch to HEAD position. If headlights do not work, repair headlight system. If headlights are okay, disconnect instrument panel connector "C". Turn light control switch to HEAD. Check voltage at connector "C" terminal No. 5. If voltage does not exist, repair wiring between connector "C" terminal No. 5 and light control switch, HEAD fuse and/or headlight control relay. If voltage exists, reconnect instrument panel connector "C". Disconnect instrument panel connector "B". Ground connector "B" terminal No. 7. Turn light control switch to HEAD. If headlight indicator does not illuminate, check light bulb. Replace as needed. If bulb is okay, install a known good circuit plate and retest. If light still does not illuminate, replace instrument panel computer and retest. If headlight indicator illuminates, repair wiring between connector "B" terminal No. 7 and ground.
