New Transponder Key Code Programming
NOTE:
This must be done when new transponder key ECU is installed.
NOTE:
Master key is Black key that opens all locks. Sub key is Gray key that will not open trunk, trunk main switch and glovebox.
- Ensure all doors are closed and key is not in ignition. Insert master key in ignition and turn ignition on.
- If registering next master key, remove original master key and insert new master key within 10 seconds. Turn ignition on, then remove key.
- If registering sub key, remove master key, open and close driver's door within 10 seconds. Insert sub key in ignition within 10 seconds. Turn ignition on within 10 seconds, then remove key.
