Test No. 1: Driver's Door Ecu Communication Circuit
- Verify driver's door power window operates properly. Roll driver's window fully up. Remove key from ignition switch. Insert key into driver's door key lock and unlock switch. Turn key clockwise for more than 1.5 seconds. Driver's door window should roll down. If operation is as specified, go to next step. If operation is not as specified, check driver's door ECU. See DRIVER'S DOOR ECU under PIN VOLTAGE TESTS.
- Disconnect 16-pin connector "D" from body ECU. See Fig 1. Disconnect 18-pin connector "A" from driver's door ECU. See Fig 2. Check for continuity in Yellow/Black wire between body ECU connector "D" terminal No. 10 and driver's door ECU connector "A" terminal No. 1. If continuity exists, check driver's door ECU. See DRIVER'S DOOR ECU under PIN VOLTAGE TESTS. If continuity does not exist, repair or replace wiring harness or connectors between body ECU and driver's door ECU.
