Retrieving Transponder Key Computer Codes
Connect analog voltmeter positive lead to check connector terminal OP3. Connect negative lead to check connector terminal E1. Insert key in ignition. Read code as sweeps of voltmeter needle. Each code will be displayed as .5 second voltage pulses separated by 1.5 second no voltage pauses. Each code will be displayed in order, starting with lowest code. Each code will be separated by a 2.5 second pause. When all codes have been displayed, there will be a 4.5 second pause, then codes will repeat. See ENGINE IMMOBILIZER CODE DEFINITION table. If no code is retrieved, turn ignition on. If code is now retrieved, check EFI fuse.
