Test 16: Engine Oil Level Warning Light Does Not Light

Disconnect connector "D". Turn ignition on. If oil level warning light does not illuminate after 40 seconds, check light bulb. If bulb is okay, replace circuit plate and recheck system. If bulb is bad, replace bulb and retest. If oil level warning light illuminates after 40 seconds, check oil level switch. See OIL LEVEL SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS. If switch is okay, repair wiring between switch and connector "D" terminal No. 17. If switch is bad, replace switch and retest.
