Test 21: Shift Position Indicator Problem

Disconnect instrument panel connector "B" and "C". Turn ignition on. While moving shifter, check voltage at terminals listed. See SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR TERMINAL  table. If voltage does not exist, check wiring between instrument panel connector terminal listed and park/neutral switch or position switch. Check switch. If wiring and switch are okay, check light bulb. Replace as needed and retest. If voltage exists, replace circuit plate and retest.
