Tilt & Telescopic Control Module Power Supply Circuit
- Remove tilt and telescopic control module. With ignition off, measure voltage between tilt and telescopic control module connector T10, terminals No. 8 and No. 18. See Figure. If voltage is not 10-14 volts, go to next step. If voltage is 10-14 volts, go to TROUBLE SHOOTING and identify next circuit to be checked.
- Measure resistance between tilt and telescopic control module connector T10, terminal No. 8 and ground. If resistance is less than one ohm, go to next step. If resistance is not less than one ohm, repair open in Blue/Red wire between control module connector T10, terminal No. 8 and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Check 10 amp DOME fuse. If fuse is okay, check for open in Red wire between tilt and telescopic control module connector T10, terminal No. 18 and fuse block. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If fuse is blown, check and repair short Red wire between tilt and telescopic control module connector T10, terminal No. 18 and fuse block.
