Shift Lock Solenoid Circuit

  1. Check Shift Lock Solenoid

    Check shift lock solenoid. See SHIFT LOCK SOLENOID under COMPONENT TESTS. If shift lock solenoid is okay, go to next step. Replace shift lock solenoid as necessary. Retest system operation.

  2. Check Circuits

    Check circuits for faults between shift lock solenoid and body control ECU No. 2. See WIRING DIAGRAMS. Repair or replace as necessary. If circuits are okay, go to next test listed in appropriate TROUBLE SHOOTING SYMPTOMS table.
