Passive Mode Off

  1. Remove ignition key from ignition switch. Ensure all doors, engine hood and luggage compartment door are closed and unlocked.
  2. Perform this step within 30 seconds of completing last step. Lock and unlock any door using key or remote keyless entry system 3 times. Open driver-side door. Lock and unlock driver-side door lock using door lock knob 3 times. System should operate door locks once after 2 seconds.
  3. Perform this step within 10 seconds of completing last step. Unlock driver-side door lock knob. Close and open driver-side door 2 times. Lock and unlock driver-side door lock knob. System should operate door locks. Passive mode should now be off.
