Abs Solenoid Relay

  1. Ensure ABS solenoid relay is removed. Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between relay terminals No. 4 and 6. See Figure. Resistance should be approximately 80 ohms. Check continuity between terminals No. 1 and 3. Continuity should not exist. Check continuity between terminals No. 2 and 3. Continuity should exist. Replace relay if any preceding tests are not as specified. Go to next step.
  2. Connect positive battery voltage to terminal No. 6 on ABS solenoid relay and negative battery voltage to terminal No. 4. Check continuity between terminals No. 1 and 3. Continuity should exist. Check continuity between terminals No. 2 and 3. Continuity should not exist. Replace relay if any preceding tests are not as specified.
