Position Sensor Power Source Circuit Test

NOTE: This circuit provides power from ECU to each sensor.
  1. At driver's seat, remove bolts for front vertical adjuster. Lift front end of seat cushion slightly for access to power seat ECU. Remove power seat ECU, but leave wiring harness connectors attached.
  2. While moving seat, check voltage (backprobe) between 22-pin ECU connector "A" terminal No. 6 (Red/Green wire) and ground. See Figure. If 7.2-8.8 volts exists, go to next test listed in SYSTEM TEST INDEX  table. If 7.2-8.8 volts does not exist, ensure ECU and harness connector terminals are clean and secure. Repair as necessary. If no problems are found, replace ECU.
