Test 1: Ecu Power Source Circuit

  1. DOME Fuse Check

    Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Ensure DOME fuse is okay. Replace fuse if necessary. If DOME fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse fails again, check for short in Blue/Yellow wire between DOME fuse and wireless door lock control ECU terminal No. 8. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .

  2. ECU Power Source & Ground Test

    With ignition switch in OFF position, remove wireless door lock ECU from under left side of instrument panel. See Figure. Measure voltage (backprobe) between ECU connector terminal No. 8 (Blue/Yellow wire) and ground. See Figure. If battery voltage does not exist, check for an open in Blue/Yellow wire. If battery voltage is present, proceed to next test given in TROUBLE SHOOTING SYMPTOMS  under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
