Description & Operation
Keyless entry system allows the doors to be locked and unlocked by the use of low-power electrical waves emitted from a hand held transmitter. Pushing the unlock button once will turn off the theft deterrent system and unlock driver's door. Pushing the transmitter button again within 3 seconds will unlock the other doors. If doors are not opened within 30 seconds, all the doors will automatically relock. Door lock control ECU is protected by 15-amp fuse No. 28 (GAUGE) and by 10-amp fuse No. 25 (DOME) located in left kick panel fuse box. See Fig 1.
