Ignition Switch Circuit Test

Check ECU-IG fuse (15-amp) in instrument panel junction block. Replace fuse if necessary and check wiring for short. Disconnect wireless door lock ECU connector. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using a voltmeter, check voltage between ground and wireless door lock ECU connector terminal No. 13 (Yellow/Green wire). See Figure. If battery voltage exists, check wireless door lock ECU pin voltages. See CIRCUIT TESTS (PIN VOLTAGE TESTS) . If battery voltage does not exist, check circuit between wireless door lock ECU and battery. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair or replace circuit as necessary and retest system operation.
