Setting (Arming) Anti-Theft System

Remove ignition key from ignition switch. Close all doors, hood and trunk. Use one of following methods to lock vehicle:

• Using key, lock left or right door (all doors are locked through key-interlinked lock operation).
• Lock all doors using remote keyless entry system.
• With one of the doors locked, close and lock other door by hand (without key).

After performing one method listed above, indicator light on instrument panel will light continuously for approximately 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, indicator light will blink once per second. When system is set, doors cannot be locked or unlocked using door lock control switch, and trunk cannot be opened with trunk release switch.
