Door Unlock Detection Switch Circuit

Door unlock detection switch is built into door lock motor assembly. Remove door trim to access door lock motor assembly. Disconnect switch connector. Check continuity between terminal No. 1 (Blue/White wire LH, Pink wire RH) and No. 4 (White/Black wire) with door unlocked. Continuity should exist. Check continuity with door locked. Continuity should not exist. If continuity is not as specified, replace switch. If continuity is as specified, check wiring between switch, ECU and ground. Repair as needed. If wiring is okay, check ECU. See PIN VOLTAGE TESTS . If pin voltages are not as specified, replace ECU and retest system operation.
