Door Courtesy Switch Circuit Test

  1. Ensure open door warning light is on when each door is opened and goes off when all doors are closed. If open door warning light operates as specified, go to next step. If door open warning light operation is not as specified, repair door courtesy switch circuit(s).
  2. Backprobe for voltage between wireless door lock ECU terminal No. 14 (Green/Black wire) and ground. See Figure. If battery voltage exists, go to next test listed in TROUBLE SHOOTING . If battery voltage does not exist, repair open Green/Black wire between wireless door lock ECU and door courtesy switch. Retest system operation.
