Removal (GS400)

  1. Remove engine cover. Disconnect negative battery cable. Drain cooling system. Remove intake air connector pipe. Disconnect accelerator pedal position sensor connector. Disconnect throttle position sensor connector. Disconnect throttle control motor connector. Disconnect throttle control motor wire from clamps on wire brackets.
  2. Disconnect water bypass hose from throttle body. Remove bolts/nuts and throttle body from intake manifold. Disconnect water bypass hose from manifold thermostat on throttle body. Remove throttle body and gasket.
