Installation (GS400, LS400 & SC400)
- To install, reverse removal procedure. If reinstalling original throttle control motor, apply grease thinly on surface of entire gear assembly including throttle control motor gear. New throttle control motor comes prelubed and does not need to be greased again. Align protrusions of motor with positioning pin holes of throttle body.
- Install and adjust throttle position sensor. See THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR in ADJUSTMENTS article. If installing new motor and accelerator pedal position sensor assembly, adjust accelerator pedal position sensor. See ACCELERATOR PEDAL POSITION SENSOR in ADJUSTMENTS article.
