Removal & Installation: Notes
WARNING:
All models are equipped with air bag system. To avoid injury from accidental air bag deployment, read and carefully follow all WARNINGS and SERVICE PRECAUTIONS. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. DO NOT apply electrical power to any component on steering column without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.
NOTE:
Individual component removal and installation procedures are not available from manufacturer. Steering column removal and installation procedures are provided to aid in removing some power tilt and telescopic steering system components.
