Yaw Rate Sensor

  1. Turn ignition off. Remove ABS/BA/TRAC/VSC ECU, located behind left side of dash. Do not disconnect harness connectors. Using a DVOM, check continuity between yaw rate sensor harness connector terminal No. 4 (Blue wire) and ABS/BA/TRAC/VSC ECU harness connector A43 terminal No. 19 (Blue wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If continuity does not exist, repair circuit as necessary. If continuity exists, go to next step.
  2. Backprobe DVOM positive lead to ABS/BA/TRAC/VSC ECU harness connector A43 terminal No. 19 (Blue wire) and negative lead to ECU harness connector A41 terminal No. 31 (White/Black wire). Turn ignition on. If voltage reading is 4.5-5.3 volts, replace ABS/BA/TRAC/VSC ECU. If voltage reading is not 4.5-5.3 volts, replace yaw rate sensor.
