Using Scan Tool

NOTE: Refer to hand-held tester operator's manual for further details.
  1. Turn ignition switch off.
  2. Connect LEXUS hand-held tester to (DLC3). See Figure.
  3. Set each test item to condition 1. See Fig 1.
  4. Turn ignition switch on. Select SIGNAL CHECK mode on hand-held tester.
  5. Change each test item to condition 2. See Fig 1.
  6. Read DTC by following prompts on tester screen. If any DTCs are retrieved, perform appropriate test. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS .
