Key Unlock Warning Switch

  1. Disconnect harness connector for key unlock warning switch. Key unlock warning switch is located near ignition switch and contains a 2-pin harness connector. See Figure.
  2. Check continuity between electrical terminals on key unlock warning switch. Continuity should not exist with ignition key removed from ignition lock cylinder. Continuity should exist with ignition key installed in ignition lock cylinder. Replace key unlock warning switch if defective.
