Power Window Master Switch Illumination Test
- Place window lock switch to UNLOCK position. Disconnect 20-pin connector from driver's power window master switch. Connect jumper wire from positive terminal of 12-volt battery to master switch harness connector terminal No. 15. See Figure. Connect another jumper wire from negative terminal of battery to master switch harness connector terminal No. 16.
- Ensure all switches illuminate. Measure voltage between power window master switch connector terminals No. 15 and 2. Battery voltage should be present. Set window lock switch to LOCK position. Ensure all switch illumination goes out and voltage reading drops to zero. If operation is not as specified, replace driver's power window master switch. If operation is as specified, driver's power window master switch is okay.
