Ecu Power Source Circuit

  1. Check DOME fuse (10-amp) located in engine compartment relay block. Replace fuse if necessary and check wiring for short. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair as necessary. If wiring is okay, go to next step.
  2. Remove wireless door lock ECU (leave wire harness connected). Using DVOM, measure voltage (backprobe) between ground and terminal No. 8 (Red wire) at wireless door lock ECU harness connector. See Figure. If battery voltage is present, perform next inspection listed in symptom diagnosis table. See SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS . If battery voltage is not present, go to next step.
  3. Check for open in White/Black wire (GND circuit) between chassis ground and wireless door lock ECU. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair as necessary. If circuit is okay, repair harness and/or connectors between wireless door lock ECU and battery.
