"2" Range Test

  1. Shift to "2" range. Drive with accelerator pedal held constant at full throttle. Ensure 1-2 upshift takes place.
    NOTE: There is no OD upshift and lock-up in "2" range.
  2. While driving in "2" range, 2nd gear, release accelerator pedal and check engine braking. If there is no engine braking, 2nd coast brake is defective. Check for abnormal noise and shock at acceleration and deceleration.
