Starter Relay Circuit
NOTE:
Verify normal engine cranking before performing this test.
- Place transmission in Neutral. Turn ignition off. Disconnect anti-theft/door lock control ECU connectors T7 and T8. Turn ignition on. Using a voltmeter, measure voltage between ECU 25-pin connector T8 terminal No. 25 (Blue/Orange wire) and body ground. See Figure. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If voltage is 10-14 volts, go to next step. If voltage is not 10-14 volts, repair or replace wire harness and connectors between starter relay and anti-theft/door lock control ECU.
- Check anti-theft/door lock control ECU pin voltages. See ANTI-THEFT/DOOR LOCK CONTROL ECU PIN VOLTAGE TESTS under COMPONENT TESTS. Replace as necessary and retest system operation.
