Resistance Check (GS400, LS400 & SC400)

All models are equipped with 2 Oil Control Valves (OCVs). Each cylinder head has one OCV located in front inside corner of cylinder head. Remove engine cover. Remove intake air connector pipe, if necessary. Disconnect Black 2-pin connector from OCV to be tested. Measure resistance between OCV terminals. Resistance should be 6.9-7.9 ohms at 68°F (20°C). If resistance is not 6.9-7.9 ohms, replace OCV.
